CSID (CardServ ID Pty Ltd) supplies Recycled PVC Cards which can be used in all ID Card Printer Models. It’s just one of the ways we can be help your organisation produce environmentally friendly cards.

Our Recycled PVC Cards come in the following specifications:

  • Card Size: 86mm x 54mm (standard Credit Card size)
  • Thickness: 30Mil (0.76mm)
  • Colour: White
  • Use: All brands of Direct-to-Card Printers & Re-transfer Printers
  • Recycled Content: 65% pre-consumer recycled content in core materials & 35% virgin material in core stock. Finished card bodies are 50% pre-consumer recycled PVC content.
  • Note: due to the recycled material content of White Recycled PVC Cards, these cards may have a variation in the white colour tone from batch to batch. However, recycled cards perform the same as regular PVC Cards regardless of content. Recycled PVC Cards with overlay are not made from recycled content.

The main difference between Recycled PVC Cards and regular White PVC Cards is that recycled cards are a sustainable solution to the use of PVC or plastic, when it comes to printing and issuing ID or Membership Cards.

Side-by-side, Recycled PVC Cards are almost identical to regular White PVC Cards. Our own testing when printing on the Recycled PVC cards along with customer feedback has proven that Recycled PVC Cards perform as well as their regular counterparts, in terms of durability, consistency of colour and card printing performance.

The only visual difference, as with anything produced in batches, is that the “white” of the Recycled PVC Cards may vary from batch to batch.
